Associate Pastor-Chuck Fenwick

The Fenwicks: Amy, Jenna, Tyler, Pastor Chuck, Tobey, Jerod
Pastor Chuck came to us in August, 2010 after having served as Director of Student and Family Ministries at Forest Park United Methodist Church for 2 1/2 years. During this time, he led the youth ministry as well as the children's ministry and served in roles of teaching/preaching in worship service. Prior to this ministry setting, he served in numerous ministry settings as paid full time staff, part-time staff, and volunteer staff in both church and para-church environments. In the church setting, Pastor Chuck has served as Youth Director, Young Adult/Singles Director, Small Group leader and facilitator, Praise Team member, and Club 456 (Kids Club) leader. In the para-setting, he worked with Campus life and Mustard Seed Ministries. With these ministries, he led high school and middle school clubs and helped start a youth community center.
Pastor Chuck is a graduate of Indiana Tech and United Theological Seminary. He is married to Amy and his four children: Tyler (16), Jenna (13), Tobey (8), and Jerod (7). His wife Amy is a cosmetologist and has a salon in Decatur and is the Director of Children's Ministry here at New Haven UMC. Pastor Chuck and Amy have been married for over 11 years (yes, you read it correctly; Tyler and Jenna are from a previous marriage) and are looking forward to the next chapter that God has in store for them and their family.
On a personal note, Pastor Chuck enjoys reading anything dealing with comedy and reads theological literature often. He loves watching comedies and even enjoys watching those "dumb" movies that you just have to be in the mood to watch. He enjoys working out at the gym and running (it's his "alone" time and a great excuse to eat ice cream every night!) and loves the CIncinnati Reds, but will occasionally cheer for the Cubs too.
