The New Haven United Methodist Pre-School has been brightening the lives of children since 1966. Donna Michel, our Director, has worked to create a learning environment within a Christian setting that helps our children prepare for the years of schooling ahead. We also offer a values curriculum that helps your youngster understand more clearly right and wrong behavior. Registration Information:
The registration fee of $50 and the activity fee for the 2010-11 school year are both payable at the time of registration.  Beginner's activity fee is $20; Pre-K is $30 and Kindergarten Prep is $35.  Tuition and class days are listed below.  Families with two or more children enrolled will receive a discount of 1/4 off tuition and registration fees for the second and third child.  Classes are scheduled to enable children of various age levels to attend simultaneously.  Registrations will be accepted as long as openings are available.   

Beginners:
This child must be three by August 1, 2010.  This is a socialization experience for the child, although all five areas of growth are an integral part of our daily schedule.  These areas of growth are social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual. 
            Classes:     Meet twice a week          - Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  
                                                                     Tuition $70 per month.
                             Meet three times a week -  Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 
                                                                      from 12:30-3:00 pm.  Tuition $95 per month. 

Pre-Kindergarten: 
This child must be four by August 1, 2010.  This is a socialization and academic experience for the child with a continued commitment to the five areas of growth emphasized the previous year.  Added are experiences to foster independence and prepare the child for a successful Kindergarten experience.  The teacher offers concrete learning experiences for the child.
          Classes:     Meet three times a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings - OR
                                                                   Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
                                                                   Tuition $85 per month.
                           Meet four times a week  -   Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 
                                                                    mornings.  Tuition $110 per month.

Kindergarten Prep:
This program is for the child who is old enough for kindergarten or has a summer birthday, but whose parents choose to give him/her an additional year of pre-school before entering Kindergarten.  This child must be five by August 1, 2010.  Curriculum continues to focus on the five areas of growth with added emphasis on the enrichment of the child and intellectual development. 
          Classes:      Meet four times a week  -   Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings,

                                                                     9:00 - 11:30 am.  Tuition $110 per month.

Along with teachers and aides, we have a Mighty Muscle teacher who works each week with all children in the area of large motor skills.  This gives each child individual attention as they do activities designed to help growth in the area of large muscle development.
