Adult Ministries

Numerous spiritual growth opportunities are offered to adults. For additional information regarding any of the studies, contact the Church Office (749-9565).


Bible Studies:
From in-depth Disciple classes to discussion on relevant Christian topics, Bible Study has something for everyone. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings. Check your Bulletin, The Cornerstone and our home page for a list of new studies being offered.

Sunday School:
Sunday School for adults is held Sunday during the second Worship Service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Education Wing. A variety of materials are used to help individuals grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ and the world today. This is also a great place to become better acquainted with others in the congregation.

You are welcome to attend any Sunday School class which is of interest to you.  Since you may feel more comfortable in attending one with individuals in your age group, we are listing the approximate age group of each class for your information:

     Singles - led by Tiah Drake - meets in Conference Room - all ages.
     Acts 29 - led by Keven & Kim Linker - meets in Room 54 - ages: 25-40+.
     Faithfully Friends - led by Sue Byrd - meets in Room 53 - ages: 35-50.
     Fellowship Class - led by June Holt/Bill Elsea - meets in Room 56 - ages: 65 & up.
     Adult Bible Study - led by Class Members - meets in Room 52 - ages: 45-60+.

Prayer Ministry:
New Haven UMC provides a prayer network that links members together in prayer for not only the concerns but also the joys within our congregation. If you would like to be on a prayer chain or if you have a prayer request, please contact the Church Office at 749-9565.

Men's Breakfast:
Open to all men of the church to start their day, real and spiritual food is served on Thursday mornings in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 a.m.
